I love the outdoors, and being out in nature. That is where I feel the closest to God, and happiest. Especially in autumn, which is my favourite season! I love the beautiful colours, the lighting, the smell, the coolness of the air, and the breezes and rain.

I am incredibly old-fashioned, and do not fit in with the modern-day twenty-somethings. I honestly feel that I ought to have been born in another time period.

I am such a bibliophile! I am the sort of person who despises all these new, technological reading devices (nooks, kindles, etc). I'm a "purist" when it comes to reading; it must be an actual book. I love the way they smell, the way the pages feel between my fingers, feeling so close to the story within. I love reading and thoroughly enjoy writing. It is my wish to become a published author someday, even if it is only one book. Although it wouldn't be quite as satisfying as if I were to be published years ago (when it was actually an honour to be published. Ah! To be alive when only the best of the best were published, instead of letting any random person publish a collection of rubbish) I would still be thoroughly pleased.

I have a love for equines! I love them all, but I am particularly fond of "Longears." If you are unfamiliar, this is a term used for donkeys, mules, and hinneys (although, zebras are also considered a "longear"). I am a donkey and mule trainer, and would like to get into hypotherapy and equine-assisted therapy, someday.
